Frequently Asked questions

Whats the diffrence between wax and ceramic coating?

How often should my car be detailed?

Why is it so important to keep your vehicle clean?

Wax is a short-term option. It adds gloss and light protection but sits on top of the paint and wears off within weeks to a couple months. Ceramic coating bonds to the surface, so it lasts much longer and holds up better against sun, dirt, and chemicals. It also keeps the car cleaner and easier to wash. Coatings can be applied to paint, wheels, glass, trim, and leather. Proper prep is key. Without it, the coating won’t bond or last. Not sure what’s right? Reach out and we’ll help.

It really depends on how the car is driven, how it’s stored, and how it’s been treated in the past. For most people, we recommend every 2 weeks for a daily driver, and about once a month for a vehicle that’s used less often. That’s based on what we see works best for keeping the majority of vehicles in solid shape. That being said, we tailor everything to you. Everyone uses their car differently, and we’re here to match what makes the most sense for your situation.

Staying on top of regular detailing prevents buildup inside and out, which can end up costing more to fix later. It also makes driving more enjoyable—cleaner, less stress, and a better overall experience. Over time, road grime and contaminants will break down your paint and wear it out. Inside the car, dirt and debris get tracked in and act like an abrasive, slowly wearing down carpets, seats, and other interior surfaces as well. Keeping your vehicle properly cleaned and protected helps keep everything in tip top shape long term. If you’re not sure what schedule works best for you, reach out and we’ll help you set something up.

At The Detail Method, detailing is more than just cleaning vehicles, it’s about transformation, trust, and pride in the work.

I started this business because I genuinely care about the process. Seeing a vehicle go from neglected or worn down to something the owner is proud to drive again is what drives me. Every vehicle has a story, and every detail deserves the time, patience, and attention required to bring it back to life.

I believe in doing things the right way, not the fastest way. Some vehicles need deep restoration, while others just need proper maintenance. My approach is simple: assess what the vehicle actually needs and perform the work to a standard that both the customer and I are proud of.

Transparency and honesty are at the core of everything I do. I communicate openly with every client about the condition of their vehicle, what services will truly benefit it, and what results they can realistically expect. No upselling, no shortcuts, and no surprises. Building real relationships with customers matters just as much as the work itself. When someone trusts me with their vehicle, I take that seriously. My goal is that every customer leaves not just satisfied with the results, but confident they’ve found someone who genuinely cares about their vehicle.

Because at the end of the day, great detailing isn’t just a service — it’s a method.
